When baby’s sick, the last thing a parent wants is to wake him or her for a temp check. FeverFrida checks in on your babe every four seconds without waking him or her, thanks to a bitty Bluetooth monitor and patch placed under the arm. The FeverFrida will alert your smart phone when the temp goes above a predetermined threshold and continuously stores data for pediatrician visits and medicine dose reminders. FeverFridaTM The iThermonitor is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this... I truly wanted to love this product, as I do all other fridababy products, but I can't seem to make it work for me. After following instructions, it's failed to properly read the temperature of my 6 month old and 2yr old. It's at least 3 degrees off from my other ear thermometer, reading on the colder side. Therefor, it's not providing me with the peace of mind and ease of monitoring that I had hoped for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the Fever Frida!! Gives Me Peace of Mind!! I bought this and it has helped me tremendously when my daughter has been sick. I can track her temp, get alerts, and even download backup to show her doctor how the temp has trended. Love this. Only downside is sticks don't last too long once awake so I go through a few, but refillls are inexpensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FeverFrida works great! This product gave me so much peace of mind when my daughter was sick. I could put her to sleep in her bed when she was sick and check her temperature as often as I wanted without ever having to bother her. The product is easy to put on and has never been uncomfortable or irritating to my daughter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, But Needs Bigger Patches The actual thermometer works great. However, the patches are too small. There isn't enough area sticking to the skin for them to stay on. We normally add extra medical tape on top of the adhesive patches in order for the FeverFrida to stay on correctly. Make them a bit bigger please!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smart product easy to use I bought this thermometer about a year ago and use it when I need to monitor the baby's temperature. It's easy to use (paired with iPhone). I recommend it. Although I am not sure if the temperature is as accurate as it would be with a digital thermometer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's ok, gives you a general idea of baby's temp It's an OK tool that lost our confidence after a couple of uses. Getting it to run was not easy (not rocket science either) after that it works ok. We found out that it doesn't give an exact reading (two or three degrees off) so we set the threshold two degrees lower to have peace of mind during night time. Some features are very helpful, having a track of medicines given to the baby is great; having the information on the cloud is also great because me and my wife are tracking the temperature and medicines takes on both phones. Bluetooth connection is not great but what we did is use an old mobile we had, connect to wifi and keep it on the night stand in the baby's room. ONE BIG PROBLEM: after a couple of uses the readings we started getting were completely wrong, we got really scared when we got a reading of 105°f at 3am, obviusly ran to get the baby in the shower and while getting the clothes off we noticed the baby wasn't hot at all, thermometers readings were 98°f (yup, we obviusly tried more than one) and since then FeverFrida gives bad reading randomly so we decided to stop using it. (sensor didn't get wet, or dropped, batteries have been replaced twice and readings are still crazy).

I am trying to determine the best placement I read "armpit skin" in the manual but all the pictures seem to be at or slightly below nipple Level. Also is it better to place it vertical or horizontal?

Asked by: Daniellep

May sound like a silly question but can this thermometer be used on a baby with a pacemaker? Baby pacemakers are placed in the upper abdomen region. Wondering about any interference.Preparing for a baby with complete heart block so this is very important!

Asked by: boymomCJ
Thank you for reaching out regarding Fridababy's FeverFrida! We recommend that you reach out directly to your physician about this matter. Please let them know that the data between the FeverFrida and the iThermonitor app is transmitted via low-energy Bluetooth to see if there will be any impact to the pacemaker.
