FeverFridaTM The iThermonitor is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from FeverFrida works great! This product gave me so much peace of mind when my daughter was sick. I could put her to sleep in her bed when she was sick and check her temperature as often as I wanted without ever having to bother her. The product is easy to put on and has never been uncomfortable or irritating to my daughter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love Fridababy products I bought this for my baby was a few months old and I am so glad it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I'm very useful especially around the time when he gets his shots because he always gets a fever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good thermometer Love this thermometer. When my kids are sick I just stick it on and don't have to worry about waking her up to check her temp. There are a few down falls to it. Like I wish the adhesive sticker was a bit bigger to better stick the device closer and flush with the skin. Also it request disconnects if you walk away. I usually tend to leave our tablet in the room and check it from my phone. But other than that it's a great thought up device.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great but not so great I bought this when my son was running fevers throughout the night and didn't want to wake him up to get his temp or run the thermometer across his forehead. I got it and was delighted about it because I didn't have to bother him. First thing I noticed was the battery was dead. Had to go back out to the store to get a new one. Second it would automatically turn off so the only way to turn it back on was to press the button which resulted to having to wake up my son. Third, the range on it was horrible. You literally had to be right next to them. So a couple of times during the night I had to physically get up press the button to turn the device on and then wait for the device to find my phone. All in all it is a great concept. I wouldn't recommend this product though because of the hassle you have to go through to get it to operate the way it should.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smart product easy to use I bought this thermometer about a year ago and use it when I need to monitor the baby's temperature. It's easy to use (paired with iPhone). I recommend it. Although I am not sure if the temperature is as accurate as it would be with a digital thermometer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the Fever Frida!! Gives Me Peace of Mind!! I bought this and it has helped me tremendously when my daughter has been sick. I can track her temp, get alerts, and even download backup to show her doctor how the temp has trended. Love this. Only downside is sticks don't last too long once awake so I go through a few, but refillls are inexpensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of mind I bought this right before my baby turned 1. I've heard so many things about babies feeling horrible after their 1 year old immunizations. This provided me with piece of mind while she was sleeping. It worked great and was very reliable. I loved being able to monitor her temp from my phone without disturbing her. The small size of the thermometer made it comfortable for her to wear. The soft bandage patch was also very comfortable and didn't irritate her sensitive skin. Id recommend this to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, But Needs Bigger Patches The actual thermometer works great. However, the patches are too small. There isn't enough area sticking to the skin for them to stay on. We normally add extra medical tape on top of the adhesive patches in order for the FeverFrida to stay on correctly. Make them a bit bigger please!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Systemically defective Don't take my word for it... look in your app store. It's 90% one-star reviews, and it deserves them!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this... I truly wanted to love this product, as I do all other fridababy products, but I can't seem to make it work for me. After following instructions, it's failed to properly read the temperature of my 6 month old and 2yr old. It's at least 3 degrees off from my other ear thermometer, reading on the colder side. Therefor, it's not providing me with the peace of mind and ease of monitoring that I had hoped for.

I am trying to determine the best placement I read "armpit skin" in the manual but all the pictures seem to be at or slightly below nipple Level. Also is it better to place it vertical or horizontal?

Asked by: Daniellep

May sound like a silly question but can this thermometer be used on a baby with a pacemaker? Baby pacemakers are placed in the upper abdomen region. Wondering about any interference.Preparing for a baby with complete heart block so this is very important!

Asked by: boymomCJ
Thank you for reaching out regarding Fridababy's FeverFrida! We recommend that you reach out directly to your physician about this matter. Please let them know that the data between the FeverFrida and the iThermonitor app is transmitted via low-energy Bluetooth to see if there will be any impact to the pacemaker.

Hi! Question about the sensor placement. Does the device have to be sandwiched between the child's arm and armpit or does it only have to be in contact with the armpit skin for an accurate reading? Thanks! Liz
